Hexcode is back with its second edition and this year we had over 1500 applications for our first category – Graphic Design and Illustration. This time around, we focused on the skill and talent displayed through each creator’s portfolio rather than individual projects and got a great response from the community.
For people not yet acquainted with what Hexcode is: as a contest, Hexcode is an ongoing initiative calling all the emerging creators to enter their portfolios in 7 diverse creative categories of ‘Graphic Design and Illustration’, ‘3D Art and Animation’, ‘UX/UI Design’, ‘Filmmaking and Editing’, ‘Fashion Design’, ‘Content Writing’, and ‘Photography’.
Hexcode is an opportunity to work in collaboration with the leading experts in the creative fields. Winners of this competition will be personally mentored by the top names in the industry.
The deadline to submit the portfolios for the first category: Graphic Design & Illustration has ended and our jury comprising of Lokesh Karekar (Design Director at Studio Locopopo) and Saumin Suresh Patel (Illustrator and Comic Book Artist) have selected the Top 50 Finalists.

The Top 50 Finalists will now receive a brief to submit their concept on ‘The Soul of India’ from which the jury will select our Top 5 Winners to receive mentorship, exciting prizes, and the opportunity to create a collaborative artwork with the jury.
