Pixel Fox Studios is all about ‘serious fun’!
At Pixel Fox Studios, we create meaningful digital experiences and craft each pixel carefully to make our work memorable and unique.
What does the Fox say?
A-oo-oo-oo-ooo (Just Kidding)
From over a hundred random names that our founders Krutika Vernekar & Amit Damani came up with, Pixel Fox Studios was chosen. The name suited us the most because ‘Pixel’ represents our need for everything to be excruciatingly perfect and ‘Fox’, which is also our animal spirit, symbolizes our love for exploring the unknown and rising up to the challenge, no matter what the task may be.
Could you tell us about your Kyoorius ‘In-Book Win 2016’ as well as winning ‘Silver at Campaign India Digital Crest Awards (CIDCA) 2016’?
Our Kyoorius and CIDCA achievements were for our company website www.pixelfoxstudios.com. We started one and a half years ago with the sole intention of creating work that would stand out. A website should make an impression that is long lasting and credible. Hence, our objective was to create an innovative digital journey to showcase our strengths. The website tells our story using a parallax scrolling navigation, bold graphics and vibrant colours.
(Kyoorius Awards is associated with D&AD to recognize, honour and award the most outstanding creative work in advertising digital, media and marketing communication. What are the client experiences that you have learnt from?
We’ve learnt some solid bargaining skills from our clients.
Check out what we’ve learnt from them. 😛
You guys seem to have a really interesting office space that is far from the typical corporate set up. What was our inspiration?
Well, we were determined to create a space that was comfortable, homely, got our creative juices flowing and made an impression. The décor at Pixel Fox Studios is a team effort and we continue to work on interesting DIY ideas, which bring the entire team together.

If I were to randomly walk into your office on Friday at 7pm, what would I see?
Our office boy passed out on the beanbag! We’re not kidding!
What are the interesting experiences you have had with some of the projects you’ve worked on?
- Saregama
Recently, we did a photo and video shoot for Saregama. We wanted to experiment with creative photography techniques to showcase Saregama’s new Retro office space. It took seven days of trial and error, burning the midnight oil, multiple trips to the drawing board and extreme manhandling of the ctrl + z keys to create this six piece series. A series that was a far cry from what we started with. In a good way of course!
- Ford India
We recently did a digital Ad for Ford India using spoofs on famous Bollywood scenes. We took the bold route and decided to use animated illustrations backed by a voice over which is a different approach for a corporate brand. Yes, we all tried our hand at mimicry but failed miserably so we had to hire a professional! But jokes apart, the video has received more than a million views on YouTube.
How to ruin a job interview with you?
When you’re all fart and no s#!t that would just about do it!
Do you’ll currently have any openings, if yes, where should the interested designers apply?
Yes, we’re always looking out for more foxes to join the lead.
