Art books, for the most part, stay out of reach for a lot of people. Some people can’t justify the spending, some can’t afford the space they occupy and for others, they’re simply out of print or weren’t available. However, the Solomon R. Guggenheim museum aims to change that.

From what we understand about the Solomon R. Guggenheim collection, they have always made it their top priority to preserve modern art. From 2012, they’ve been trying to make art and art resources accessible to everyone. We love this idea because it means that more people can appreciate art and can gain inspiration for their art.

To appreciate art, one must absorb art and now, there are 200+ books on art made available for free by the museum. This has been made possible with the help of the Internet Archive. They digitised their hard copy books to be viewed online or if you want, they can be downloaded to your desktop in your preferred format (we suggest PDF).
