View the hypnotic and intriguing process behind the creation of ink

Imagine creating art without colour. It is possible, but one can’t deny the amount of life colour pours into artwork. The sheer joy of painting out sketches as a child are not so easily forgotten. Now think about Ink, yes, Ink! The very material with which we print out our art, images, newspapers, magazines, etc. Ink is what the world’s print media runs on and running out of it would make our world run out of colour. Anyway, enough of rambling about. We’ve got a treat for all you colour maniacs today.

Watch as a Chief Ink Maker shows how colour and ink is created from the raw ingredients–powder, varnish, and passion. The company shares the methods through which they can create every color in the PANTONE spectrum!

The process is shown in a delightful manner and its hypnotic allure will draw you in as you watch the ink being created step by step. Watch as the ink gets completely transformed in it’s journey throughout the production process and drool from your lips as the bright colours slowly drip down. You will definitely wish that you can be there with them in the factory and create it with your own hands. However, that is not possible for most of us and this is the closest that we can get to creating colour, the base from which our arts originate.
