Dragons of IndieFolio

Check out these spectacular projects featuring the best dragon artwork on IndieFolio!

It simply isn’t an adventure worth telling if there aren’t any dragons! – J.R.R. Tolkien

Dragons, those fiery monsters that lie awaiting us at the end of the mission, guarding their hoard ferociously and putting up a fight that we’ll surely remember or meet our ends to. From Welsh and Chinese mythology to Khaleesi’s Drogon, Viserion and Rhaegal, dragons have captured our imagination since time immemorial. With scales like chainmail, teeth like swords and wingspans stretching hundreds of feet, these massive beasts are almost always the final obstacle, the culmination of all your efforts and are amongst the hardest challenges that you’ll ever face.

With over 30,000 artworks on the website, IndieFolio was bound to feature some of these mythical beasts. So, off we set into the wild, looking for dragons (not the smartest of ideas) and we ended up finding these beauties listed below. Presenting, some of the most awesome dragon artworks on IndieFolio. Click on the images to visit the project page and learn more about them:

We start off with this Indian Dragon, the spikes around its mouth and on its spine pose an extra challenge to challengers.

This brutal dragon type Pokémon travels the skies on its six wings. Anything that moves seem a foe to it, triggering its attack.

The zombie dragon loots cemeteries and graveyards to create its hoard. Blind as a bat, they use their keen hearing and sense of smell to detect prey.

This ancient god is both, the wild nature of ourselves and our conscience embodied in the Old Code.

Bound by chains, these beasts were bred for war and trained rigorously till they could kill a Gryphon within minutes. The Pharaohs kept a few in their pits, awaiting traitors, criminals and unfortunate messengers.

These mechanised giants guard the cyborg world core. A thromium-32 reactor powers their mechanised bodies.

This was the last known image received from our courageous explorers. Dragonfire burns at 3200C and can turn diamond to dust.

No further entries were received from our explorers. May their souls rest in peace. This wraps up our list till we can garner some new entries.
