It simply isn’t an adventure worth telling if there aren’t any dragons! – J.R.R. Tolkien

Dragons, those fiery monsters that lie awaiting us at the end of the mission, guarding their hoard ferociously and putting up a fight that we’ll surely remember or meet our ends to. From Welsh and Chinese mythology to Khaleesi’s Drogon, Viserion and Rhaegal, dragons have captured our imagination since time immemorial. With scales like chainmail, teeth like swords and wingspans stretching hundreds of feet, these massive beasts are almost always the final obstacle, the culmination of all your efforts and are amongst the hardest challenges that you’ll ever face.

With over 30,000 artworks on the website, IndieFolio was bound to feature some of these mythical beasts. So, off we set into the wild, looking for dragons (not the smartest of ideas) and we ended up finding these beauties listed below. Presenting, some of the most awesome dragon artworks on IndieFolio.
