Painting on walls dates back to cavemen. It’s the oldest recorded art form of all time that humanity has been on Earth. Makes you wonder what compelled them to etch and sketch on the wall in the first place. Then again, are we different? Isn’t there something irresistible and, perhaps, naughty about leaving your mark on a wall. When we were kids, many of us realised that crayons, colour pencils and sketch pens can be used on surfaces other than paper.
Now, we have multiple mediums of expression and brilliantly creative minds. So today, whether the walls around you are unnervingly simple or completly chaotic, enjoy some amazing wall art projects here on IndieFolio. We hope you get a few ideas for a little wall decoration of your own.
If you want to see more of their art, scroll back up and click on the project name to see the full project and for some of these projects, there’s more wall art to be seen. And for the others? You could discover other wall art projects they’ve done. We covered a very cool wall art company who painted Churchgate station last year. For more murals and wall art, feel free to go to IndieFolio and discover some for yourself.
