It is with a similar ideology that the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) initiated the “CII Design Excellence Awards” in 2011 to promote and develop quality design and give impetus to Indian creative talent.
Starting from this year, CII has incorporated a student award category within the prestigious CII Design Excellence Awards in order to encourage, support and nurture new talent entering the industry. These awards are a great way for you to challenge yourself, display your best work and get the recognition that your talent deserves.
The CII Design Excellence Awards Students Category is an opportunity:
- To showcase your talent to the Indian industry
- To star on CII Design Website
- To get featured in the CII Design Year Book
- To display your projects during the 15th CII-NID Design Summit & Expo
Entries are invited in four main categories of Visual Communication, Industrial Design, Interaction Design and Mobility Design from final year undergraduate and postgraduate students pursuing a full-time program in any design school within India.
There are ten awards in total to be won, two overall winners from the undergraduate and postgraduate courses and eight category winners.
It is essential that the project submitted for this awards is final year main project and is duly certified by the institution. The project could be an individual project or a team project. Last date for submissions is 16 October, 2015.
