Check out Appy Fizz’s new brand identity created by Sagmeister and Walsh

Say goodbye to Saif Ali Khan and his best buddy, Appy Fizz. The coolest drink to hang out with is now the drink everyone wants to be seen with! Appy Fizz is back with an all new brand identity changing everything right from the brand ambassador to the packaging. The minds behind this new look were New York based agency, Sagmeister and Walsh, also the creators of the recent Frooti campaign.

The new Appy Fizz identity visualizes carbonated bubbles through a dynamic graphic language of 3d spheres and circles. From the print campaign to the television commercial, this circular language in the bold red/white/black color palette unites the various mediums with a distinct look and feel. We worked with brand ambassador & Bollywood star Priyanka Chopra for the TVC to create a bold film for Appy Fizz. In the film Priyanka “sheds” the sweeter tone of the brands past for a strong, bold, sexier tone that will continue for future campaigns.

What do you think of this? Appy Fizz is heading down a completely new path with this new identity. The newer packaging gives the product a very premium feel to it which should help it increase the gap between itself and competitors in the aerated fruit juice segment which it also introduced to India. I must add that the new campaign reminds me of Yayoi Kusama and her artworks!
